NOTES.
1. NOAA 9 was permanently deactivated some years ago and is tumbling freely. Unfortunately it has a sporadic carrier on 137.500 (varies quickly according to orientation) and can cause interference to NOAA 12
and NOAA 15. Update 01/05/2006 : No reports of interference for many months.
2. Tiros-N and NOAA 6 are putting a carrier out on 137.500 and will interfere with NOAA 12 and 15 when their footprints overlap. Update 01/05/2006 : No reports of NOAA 6 interference for many months.
3. NOAA 16's APT transmission system failed a few months after launch.
4. NOAA 18's APT frequency was changed as planned on 4th January 2006 at 09.03 UTC. The change was from VTX-2 (137.9125 MHz) to VTX-1 (137.100 MHz).
5. Due to VHF conflict on 137.500 MHz, NOAA 15's APT is off from 19.00 UTC18th June until 19.00 UTC 21st July.
